Welcoming new players to the court

Over the weekend, we hosted another successful Come & Try Day, giving new players the chance to experience squash in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Thanks to funding from the Federal Government’s Play Our Way grant, we’re focused on creating more inclusive opportunities for women, girls and young players to get involved in our sport.

This session saw six women and eight children take part with many picking up a racquet for the first time. These events are not just about learning the basics of squash. They’re about building confidence, creating connections and helping more people feel at home in our club.

We’re proud to be opening up our courts to a broader community. And we look forward to welcoming even more new players at the next session.
